Fine Art Prints
All prints sold on this site are printed via a professional lab using Fuji Frontier, Polielettronica LaserLab, or Durst Lambda printers on either Kodak Supra Endura (lustre finish) or Kodak Edge (glossy and matte finish) paper. These are archival papers with an estimated fade resistance of over 100 years when properly matted and framed.
Help with the ordering process can be found
HERE. Watermarks are only present on the web viewable images. Prints will be "watermark-free". Prints will also be much more detailed than what is shown in the fine art print galleries as those images have been optimized for print sharpness and not web display.
A special note should be made concerning cropping. Depending on the image and the size you wish to print, cropping may become necessary. There is a simple and very effective automated cropping tool that can be utilized for this purpose. This tool becomes available during the ordering process. If your print requires cropping and you fail to do so, either a center crop will be used by default or you may receive a print with white borders on either the top or bottom. Being aware of this will save you the hassle of reordering and my printers the extra cost of reprinting an image. Thank you.
One caveat to the pricing structure shown above is that most of the older and lower resolution images in the Taste Of Minnesota gallery will be available at reduced pricing. See that gallery for more information.
NEW: Signed Prints
Because the prints purchased through the cart system on this site are printed by a third party printing company and directly shipped to the buyer, they are unsigned. I'm now offering signed prints (with the same pricing shown above) that will be produced on my home printer, a wide format Hewlett Packard Z3100 professional-grade printer. These are vibrant prints on a professional satin finish paper. This paper is archival quality and rated to resist fading for over 100 years if properly cared for. I also guarantee your satisfaction with these prints or I'll refund/exchange your purchase.
To purchase signed prints, please contact me via
email with the stock id and print size of the image of interest. I offer secure payments options through Paypal which allows the use of any major credit card.
Stock Licensing
Just about every image on this site (including those in the fine art print galleries) may also be licensed for stock usage. Qualifying images will have a stock id number present in the image's description. All licensing is done as rights-managed (i.e. no royalty-free licensing). At this time I prefer to handle licensing via
email inquiries. Your inquiry should include the proposed usage for the image(s) and the stock id number(s).
NEW: Framed Fine Art Prints
I'm now pleased to offer a professional frame mounting option often referred to as ColorBox mounting with any fine art print purchase. ColorBox mounting is an alternative picture framing process where a print is dry mounted onto Medium Density Fiberboard and then sealed under heat and pressure with 80% UV protective matte finish vinyl lamination and finished with a black beveled edge. The result is a contemporary looking, vibrant print that is perfect for a wide variety of lighting conditions due to its extraordinary non-glare properties. Additionally, ColorBox mounted prints are easy to take care of as the laminate surface is water and fingerprint resistant and can be cleaned with glass cleaner and a soft rag.
At this time, I will be handling all ColorBox mount orders via email requests through my
contact page. Please specify the stock id found in each image's description when identifying the print desired. Billing for such purchases will be handled via secure Paypal email invoicing (which accepts all common forms of credit card payments) and orders will be fulfilled in approximately 3-4 weeks from the time of payment. Available sizes and pricing are shown below. Larger sizes may also be available for certain prints. Contact me with the image id and the size desired for a price quote.
12x18" $200
16x24" $325
20x30" $450
The prints themselves are vibrant, fine art giclee prints produced by a Hewlett Packard Z3100 wide format printer on professional satin finish paper. This paper is archival quality and rated to resist fading for over 100 years if properly cared for. All prints will be signed and I guarantee your satisfaction or I'll refund your purchase.
